The Adoption Process

Once you fill out an application, a member of our team will review it, check your vet reference and conduct a home visit, either virtually or in person. We will then connect approved adopters to the foster where they can do a meet and geet and learn more about the dog. If this goes well, we can complete the adoption! If you are not local to Memphis, no worries, we have transport options! 

Requirements:

1. Must be 18 years of age or older to adopt

2. All current pets must be spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives

3. Provide your  landlords contact info if you are renting

4. Agree to a home check

At The Rescued Pack, our adoption fees help cover the costs of caring for and ensuring the well-being of the animals in our program. Check the individual pet listings for those adoption fees.

These fees are necessary to ensure that each animal receives the proper medical care, vaccinations, spaying or neutering, and behavioral assessments they need before going to their new homes. Additionally, if the animal is old enough, they will have received the ProHeart 6 injection, which helps prevent heartworm disease for up to six months. This preventative care is part of our commitment to the long-term health of every animal in our care.
